This work is a documentation of individuals retreating from a busy world and seeking comfort in one's own company. These images explore the divergent concepts of aloneness and loneliness, conveying the beauty in mundane singular human life.
This project discovers the significance of quiet spaces in urban environments and the importance of having such spaces in York, such as Museum Gardens, where this work is located. These parks are situated amongst built-up areas in York City Centre creating an oasis for quiet alone-time.
